Godinton is situated between Repton Park and Singleton in Ashford, with good connections to the town centre, which is about a five minute drive away. The area holds Godinton House and Gardens, this is a must-see attraction in the area, with the house dating back to the fourteenth century, the history of the house is represented beautifully throughout. The Gardens are also an area of beauty, with around twelve acres of gardens and parkland, which hold a walled garden, rose garden, herbaceous border, lily pond, Italian garden and wild garden.

There is a primary school in the area called Godinton primary school, with a good Ofsted report, as well as Busy Bees nursery in the area and being a short drive to Highworth Grammar School and Sixth form. Also, there is Chestnut grove woodland and play area on site, great for kids. For local amenities, there’s a Co-Op, the New Chimneys restaurant, village hall and Jasmine Chinese takeaway, but also a large Waitrose about a 2 minute drive out of the estate.
