Property market breaking r...

The property market in March was the highest on modern records which have been kept since 2005 with a record breaking 180,690 property sales. This number was double the figure that was documented in February. Spring has always been a busy time for the property market, however it must be said that with Covid-19 changing our priorities and how we live completely it is hard to say exactly what is motivating buyers currently. Over the last year as a whole, the UK market has risen over 8.5% since last March. Within the last decade house prices in the TN24 area have risen by around 60%. In the last year alone, detached houses in this postcode have risen on average by around £18,000, with Semi-detached homes at around £10,000 (Information provided by Sprift, 2021).

Not only was March due to be busy because of those above but also due to the extension of Stamp duty which came out in the 2021 Budget tied with the 95% mortgages which are now fully active. If you are looking for a mortgage advisor, or would like some free advice, speak to our friends at Fingerprint Financial on 0345 210 0100.
