1. Tidy Up, sounds obvious but it's so important to make sure your home is tidy and clean, we all make a mess its normal but someone looking to buy your house doesn't want to see the leftovers of breakfast in the kitchen or your smalls hanging on the radiator.
2. Where possible depersonalise your home, if you have lots of family photos around maybe put some away for filming, we want potential buyers to imagine them loving there not see who's there currently.
3. Lamps and lights, make sure all lamps and lights have working bulbs, your 16-bulb chandelier won't look great if 8 of the bulbs don't work.
4. Tidy UP I know I have already said this but please tidy up and pick up the kid's toys, no one likes treading on a rogue Lego brick it hurts.
5. Dress your home if you have a nice dining table set it out, if you want ideas look in house magazines and do something similar it will be worth the effort in the long run.
6. I love dogs or other pets maybe put the beds and toys away. And remember to pick up the poop in the garden.
7. Move your cars off the driveway, we want to get a good shot of your home, not your number plate.
8. Log Burners, please clean the glass on your log burner when possible we like to light some paper in it for filming so it looks cosy.
