Ashford is located within the Garden of England and offers great outdoor spaces with the Northern downs on the doorstep and a fifteen-minute drive to the coast. The town offers great rail links to London within 40 minutes and Paris in just under two hours. Ashford has many facilities, including restaurants, shopping arcades, cinemas, gyms, parks and a leisure centre.

Ashford itself is perfect for all the family, with local parks, swimming/activity hall and a playcentre for children with restaurants and local country pubs for the adults as well as great links to larger towns and cities for work.

With new properties currently being built in the Ashford area, there is a range of new homes to grade II listed properties all within easy reach of the town centre and countryside walks. There are 50 primary schools located in and around Ashford and 15 Secondary schools to fit all needs, as well as Ashford College offering courses of Higher education and apprenticeships.

With Ashford being the hub of the Ashford Designer outlet, you are never short of a bargain of your favourite brands but also holding a range of shops within the town centre in County square, The High Street and Park Mall. All of these have a range of coffee shops and restaurants, from local to big brand favourites. The dining experience of Ashford ranges from takeaways to fine dining, with something for everyone. The local pubs around Ashford have a great choice of food and atmosphere, as well as having the Curious Brewery in the town centre which offers a bar, restaurant and brewery tour.

For those who enjoy walks and picnics, there are lots of great walks in the Ashford area. The Wye downs National Nature Reserve offers stunning views over Kent with walks fit from beginners to novices. If flatter ground is more suited to you, the Conningbrook lakes country reserve is beautiful and also offers water sports on the lake. For woodland walks head over to Kings wood in Challook, which has art sculptures throughout the wood from Stour Valley Arts, this area is an ideal area for dog walking as it offers large open areas and pathways between the wood.

Alternatively, if you enjoy heritage houses, Godinton house and gardens offers a stunning walk through the gardens or even the 2km walk around the grounds.

Lastly, Ashford has great wildlife connections with Port Lympe about a ten-minute drive away and the Big Cat Sanctuary in Smarden. Port Lympe is part of The Spinal Foundation and homes a range of species from Apes to Giraffes with a Safari and Port Lympe house and gardens on site. The Big cat Sanctuary houses wild cats and is part of the European Endangered species programme. The sanctuary is not open to the public on most days of the year, although it does hold a few open days every year which are impeccable as well as private experiences.

"Ashford is a town of style and vision,

Are you new to the area and considering Ashford as your next home town?

A career as an estate agent is enjoyable for many reasons, but in a town as vibrant and diverse as this there are plenty of extra perks - working with such a wide range of properties and vendors is a privilege for any member of the industry. Ashford is a town growing in stature with every passing year, and it is a joy to witness it first-hand. The two main driving factors of this development are the close proximity to rural life, combined with access to the M20 and high speed rail service into London.
At Evolution Properties we take pride in the service we offer our vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants alike. As an independent company we are also proud of the community we work within, and as such, for every house listed for sale by Evolution Properties in the Park Farm area, we donate £100 to the Park Farm Playground Project. Furthermore - as our local school - if a vendor's child attends, we donate 25% of our pre-VAT sales fee to Furley Park Primary. We also offer an Evolution Properties Loyalty Card that promotes small, local businesses.

Do you want an estate agent who will set your listing apart on Rightmove?
At Evolution Properties our valuers work closely with our in-house marketing and social media expert, allowing them to optimise the marketing strategy for your home. Combining this with best-in-class presentation and professional cinematic videos enables us to best showcase the aspects of your property that made you fall in love with it in the first place. Not only do we utilise the major property portals, but our presence across social media and google create yet further exposure - all leading to more people walking through your door for our expertly escorted viewing appointments.

Do you think communication is key to a stress-free move?
Our intensive qualification process for buyers ensures that, along with the provision of your valuers' personal mobile number, you will always have a full understanding of the progress of your sale. As an independent estate agency we do not suffer from a rigid corporate structure, enabling us to provide a highly personalised and flexible service. As a mark of our confidence in our ability to sell your home, we are always happy to offer a zero-week agency agreement across the board.
